What is PERK?
Phoenix Emergency Recovery Kits (PERK)
Phoenix Emergency Recovery Kits (PERK) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of evacuees by delivering emergency kits to wildfire shelters/fire stations. The kits include hygiene products, food, clothing, and activities to help pass time. PERK is based in Los Angeles, California. PERK was founded in 2021.

To date, PERK bags have impacted over 2,400 people.
Each kit has a retail value of $100.

The bags currently include a Nike jacket, socks, hair bands, a detangling brush, a detangling comb, a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, a bar of soap, moisturizer, ointment/chapstick, cleanser, a pen, a nail file, hand sanitizer, a granola bar, and a PERK activity sheet. The toiletries are primarily Cetaphil and Neutrogena donations.
